I am a London-based singer and singing teacher, with over 20 years of real-life teaching and performance experience, and 4 years experience teaching lessons online.
I trained at London College of Music where I studied for a BMus in Popular Music (Performance). Teachers I have studied under include the legendary Roger Kain (author of The Complete Vocal Workout: A step-by-step guide to tough vocals), Kim Chandler (President of the British Voice Association) and Juliet Russell (vocal coach on BBC 1's The Voice).
I have a Licenciate Level 6 Diploma in Music Teaching (RSL), Grade 8 singing (Distinction), Grade 5 Music theory and a First Class degree in Audio Recording and Production.

I have performed in a number of different musical outfits, including rock, blues, funk, soul, heavy metal and big bands, and have played venues including The Hippodrome, The Rivoli Ballroom, The 100 Club, The Ain't Nothing but the Blues Bar, Boomtown Fair, Standon Calling, Rollright Fayre, Passing Clouds, Hootenanny's and The Famous Spiegeltent as part of Wonderground Festival on London's South Bank. I perform regularly with many function and party bands, and am also currently working on writing and producing a solo album. In addition to my singing, I play keys at venues and festivals across the UK and Europe as part of ska band, The Vegetable Collective.

I am a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians, British Voice Association and the Association of Teachers of Singing. I possess an enhanced and up-to-date DBS certificate.
